Orient Group of Companies is looking for a competent and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Import for our Head Office in Lahore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end import operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, timely coordination with stakeholders, and smooth material flow to support manufacturing operations.

Job Description:

  • Manage end-to-end import operations, including documentation, shipment tracking, customs clearance, and coordination with suppliers, banks, and logistics partners.
  • Ensure compliance with import regulations, SROs, duties/taxes, and maintain accurate records of all shipments and LC-related documentation.
  • Monitor lead times, resolve delays, and provide timely updates to supply chain and production teams to ensure uninterrupted material flow.
  • Prepare landed cost analysis, track import expenses, and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Experience: 3–4 years of relevant experience in the Import Department of a manufacturing organization.
  • Education: MBA Supply Chain or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of customs processes, LC handling, Banking contracts and Advance payments.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office (especially Excel).
